Guy Vasilovich is a nationally syndicated newspaper cartoonist whose career spans animation, illustration, music, and fine art. Born in Illinois, Guy developed an early passion for both music and painting, performing in orchestras, jazz ensembles, and rock bands while simultaneously cultivating his drawing and painting skills. His musical background was a strong influence on his drawing and painting, which led him to study at the California Institute of the Arts.
Guy began his professional career at Walt Disney Animation, contributing layout design to major animated features before becoming art director on The Great Mouse Detective. Over time, he expanded into writing, directing, and designing for film, television, and theme park projects worldwide, collaborating with leading entertainment studios and networks.
Beyond animation, Guy has built a diverse creative portfolio. He created animated television series, worked as a nationally syndicated cartoonist, and authored and illustrated a successful children’s book.
