Ken Newton Bio

Ken Newton, born and raised in Buffalo NY, is an artist with a pedigree as the team artist of the Buffalo Bills NFL football team.

In 2020, Ken painted the cleats for many Bills players and sneakers for coaches for the annual My Cause My Cleats NFL player charitable fundraising game. The players and coaches wore the shoes during the game to raise money for their designated charities.

Ken is such a respected artist in his hometown that an historic bar near the Bills’ stadium commissioned him to paint a mural showcasing their beloved team.

Ken has been commissioned to paint action photos for several Bills players, including legendary players Jim Kelly, Andre Reed and Fred Jackson, as well as ESPN personality Chris Berman.

He began his art career during his grade school years drawing characters from Saturday morning cartoons, comic books, and athletes. He fell in love with painting during his high school years. Ken’s love for art was put on pause once life got busy with work and raising a family.

While on a family vacation, Ken visited a Wyland sea life gallery. This was the spark that reignited his passion for painting. Once back home, Ken picked up a paint brush and hasn’t stopped painting ever since. He has developed a beautiful collection of Crazy Trees & Wild Flowers that showcase a chaotic beauty with a variety of colors, textures, patterns, and techniques. Ken’s dynamic combination of colors and confident movement are one of a kind.

Ken lives with his lovely wife Joyce, in her childhood home, in their hometown of Buffalo NY, along with their dog Albert.

When they have time, Ken and Joyce pursue their goal of visiting every Major League Baseball park in the USA.

Ken and Joyce’s five grown children are never too far away.
